How to Change Windows XP Startup Sound

When you turn on your computer, you maybe hear some sound. That is startup sound. In this post, i'll show you how to change the Windows XP Startup sound.

  • First, go to Control Panel. ( Start > Control Panel ).
  • Select " Sounds, Speech, and Audio Device ".
  • Select " Change the sound scheme ".
  • There will be open a " Sounds and Audio Devices Properties " tab.
  • Below it, there will be a list of sound scheme, you can choose one of the list, and select " Play " button below to for hear it.
  • But if you don't want use all of these list, you can select " Browse " to change the sound scheme with the sound that is not in list.
  • If you have choose, save your sound scheme by pressing " Save As... " button, and type a name of your sound scheme.
  • Make sure your sound sheme is selected.
  • Click " Apply " ,  " OK ", and then close the tab
  • Restart your computer to test the change of sound scheme.
Ok, that's all the way to change a Windows XP startup sound, and i'm sorry if i have a mistake.
